Day Eight
By Ed | April 15, 2007
Spent most of today with my youngest son. My oldest decided he didn’t want to see his Dad today as he’d rather spend time with his friends. He’s thirteen now so I guess I will start seeing less and less of him.
Still, I had a great day with my baby boy (he’s five but will always be my baby). Had some great weather so we were over the local park most of the time. It was real quality father/son time and it completely took my mind off this whole business of making money online.
I received a few nice comments on previous posts (thanks guys). I’m telling you, I never realised the blogging community were so nice and supportive. I’m glad to finally be part of it.
I’ve been going through a few ebooks in my large collection and have put up a new page on this blog called My Bookshelf where I intend to upload free ebooks I’ve collected (might be of use to somebody) and reviews of others. Be sure to check it out (although at the moment there isn’t much there. But that will change).
A friend of mine mentioned that when he viewed my blog it looked weird (?). Something about the sidebar being at the bottom of the screen. He is using quite an old version of internet explorer though. Has anyone else had this problem? If you have, I’d appreciate you posting a comment. If it isn’t displaying right for some of you then I may have to change it (again). Also, if you are having problems and you are using an old version of IE then can I recommend you try Firefox. It’s so much better than IE in my opinion and you can download and use it for free.
No real other news. Although while I think of it I will quickly mention that I will be moving home next week and might be offline for a week or so. I do have a computer at work but doubt very much I’ll get time to post anything. But I will be back.
Goodnight all
P.S. Special mention for my fellow blogger Tom Boyd who has started a new blog called The Tom Boyd Project. Good luck Tom!
