Hmm… day seven. A good day to take stock of my efforts to make money this last week.
In the last seven days I have spent…
A total of $24.43 on my affiliate adwords campaign.
I have made…
A total of $17.89 by selling one affiliate product for $16 and earning $1.89 from adsense.
So despite my happiness at making an affiliate sale I have actually made a loss of $6.54. Thank god I made that affiliate sale or my loss this week would have been $22.54.
It looks like my latest affiliate campaign needs to be dropped but I might just give it one more day. Just to see if I can make one more sale (always one more… it’s so hard to pull the plug on these things especially if you’ve made a sale).

I think I might have to stop visiting mybloglog. It’s almost as addictive as writing this blog and it’s eating away at my ‘make money online’ time.
I remember reading somewhere that all of history’s great achievers shared common traits of being incredibly focused on their goals and having an unfailing desire for success.
Well, I certainly don’t have either of those. I get distracted far too easily (damn you mybloglog!) and when it comes to making money online I feel like I’m stumbling around in the dark looking for the light switch, all the while hearing whispers of ‘over here‘ and ‘this way‘ - only to fall flat on my face when I try to follow them.
Yet another affiliate campaign has proved to be fruitless for me. My ‘affiliate signature link’ / posting on forums method hasn’t reaped any rewards yet either and I don’t know where to turn.
I think that’s enough for now. I can feel the frustration building within me again as I’m writing this.

Don’t get frustrated you will have good days and bad days. Wins and losses. The trick is to never give up! Keep going for it one day you will find something that works and all your hard work will pay off.
