Day Ten

By Ed | April 17, 2007

Continuing on from yesterdays post I’ve come to realise that I need to put my plan of action together piece by piece. By writing it down I could see that I am mostly interested in making money online through either selling my own product or someone else’s.

In order to do either of these well I will need…

  1. To be able to sell stuff.
  2. To be able to research quality products and obtain affiliate rights to them.
  3. To be able to create my own quality product and sell it myself and through a strong affiliate network.

Questions that arise…

  • How do you sell things without being either well established or a damn good liar?
  • What sort of product would I be able to create that people would have an interest in buying?
  • How would I promote it on such a limited budget?
  • How do you sell someone else’s product and make a nice profit without having a responsive email list?
  • How would I reach a wide range of affiliates and convince them to sell my product?

I find these questions quite daunting. These are the sort of questions I have floating around at the back of my head when I’m thinking about how to make money on the internet. And they always get the better of me.

Taking inspiration from my fellow blogger Tom Boyd I’m going to start getting things done a little at a time, try and project into the future and build towards it and hopefully my income will grow gradually. At least that’s the plan.

So, where do I start? What will my plan of action be?

Ideas on a postcard please or alternatively you can just post them on this blog. It’s up to you. If you give me any ideas and I end up making millions from it I might even buy you a drink. If I ever meet you that is. Which I might not.
